Get ready for a full week of postcard fun leading up to the 47th Annual Wichita Postcard Club Show! Whether you’re a longtime collector or just curious about the hobby, you’re invited to explore, shop, and connect with fellow enthusiasts during Postcard Week in Wichita.

Starting several days before the show, postcard dealers and collectors from around the country will begin arriving and setting up shop at the Spark by Hilton hotel. Dealers open their hotel room doors to visitors. If you see a door open and Postcards Galore inside — that’s your sign to come in, say hello, and start browsing!

Join us for a fascinating seminar with Jim Graves, who will present highlights from his Brick Postcard Collection. These unique cards feature brick manufacturers from across Kansas and beyond — including Salina Brick Company’s iconic sunflower-marked bricks. It’s a must-see for collectors of Kansas views or industrial advertising!

If you phone the Spark by Hilton and they say they are full, ask them to take your name and number for their waiting list, and then go ahead and make a reservation with one of these other motels. As you get closer to the time for coming to Wichita, call the Spark by Hilton again and ask where you stand on their waiting list. Often, they will have had cancellations, and you will be able to get a room at the Spark by Hilton and cancel your room at the other motel. Call at different times of the day or night so you will be speaking with someone else at the front desk. Be happy and cheerful, and let them know you are coming to the postcard show and want to be with your friends there.
RESTAURANTS
We have many very good and interesting restaurants in Wichita, so ask around for suggestions, and you will eat well and have a good time. Going with other postcarders is just about the most fun ever, so give it a try when you are at the Wichita Show.
